I’m going to build a shrine to D out of plastic tiramisu and empty cat food bags, because he has got to be a saint incarnate. (And actually, our strange easter conversations have been making a LOT more sense.) Anyhow. The store’s still afloat, none of my crew killed one another while I was gone, and I’m only a little behind on my paperwork. Genoise and Ganache have been ridiculously happy, particularly Genoise. She tried to follow D into the shower, but he put her out in the hall, where she cried and patted at the door until he was done. (She woke me up.) I’m going to try for a full day tomorrow, but I’ll see.
